Impact of Microsoft on my life

I am Syed Siraj Ul Hasan, student of Mahaveer Institute of Science and Technology, am currently pursuing Diploma in Computer Science.

Impact of Microsoft on my life

             My passion towards Microsoft technology was neither from a day nor a week, it was since my childhood. I was hardly of 4 years old when my father bought a computer. I was so excited to see it.  When I saw windows 98 OS loading on computer for the first time, the journey of my life with Microsoft started. Day by day I became very curious to know about it. I used to play games like minesweeper, solitaire, free cell etc.  Then I got to know that there is an app called MS Paint where we can paint and put our imagination into reality. My experience with this app was fantastic.

              As I grew up I started studying Microsoft office in my school. With MS Word I used to create simpler and complex documents like essays and memos. Even I started creating impressive presentations on MS PowerPoint for demonstrations. I remember that day when I was appreciated for this by my teacher. Since then Microsoft Office and Windows OS became my favourite products of Microsoft.  Whenever the word “Windows” comes, it reminds me all the versions which I have used that are windows98, windows2000, windows XP, windows vista, windows7, windows8, and the latest version windows8.1.

            

    

When I came to know about Mr Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft and read his biography I was inspired by him. The way he lead his successful Microsoft journey from a college dropout to a biggest IT giant really motivated me and lead me to explore other new Microsoft technologies and products like Windows 8, Windows Phone, Internet Explorer, Skype, .NET framework, ASP.NET, Visual Studio,   Microsoft Security Essential, One Drive, Microsoft Azure, XBOX etc. 

             
 

        

                      

          

I am also a part of Microsoft Virtual Academy which helps me in learning new technologies Microsoft.. I recommend my colleagues and friends too

    How some of these had an impact on my life can be seen here:

               Windows 8:  I love windows 8 because of its Metro User Interface (UI) which feels amazing when it is used with a touch capability. The tile arrangement of apps feels comfortable to me as we can access them in a convenient way. Apart from this it takes very less time to boot. It gives the flavour of smart phones.

            

            

             Skype: Microsoft reduced the distances among the people around the globe and let them feel they are not away from their loved ones by providing the video call service.

         

 

           

            .NET framework: .NET framework impacted on my life as it is a language neutral platform which is used to develop any kind of application like web application, windows application, mobile application, web services, etc.

              Visual Studio: Visual Studio is one of the best among the Microsoft products. It is an Integrated Development Environment which is used to build different kinds of web sites, web applications, web services etc. It helps me through its intelliSense in writing code. In other words it makes my job easier. 

               

 

            One Drive: One Drive is an awesome way of storing files in cloud storage provided by Microsoft. I can access my files from anywhere I want. The beauty of it is that it eliminates the carrying of hard drives.

                       

 How you plan to bring a change to the society being a Microsoft Student  Associate?

                     As I am technology enthusiast, having passion towards Microsoft technology and products right from my childhood in addition with my good communication skills I would first target students because our student generation will be next cream of the crop. Apart from students I will let Microsoft products and technologies reach towards Business
Entrepreneurs, Academic Professionals like professors, lecturers, school teachers not only to professionals but to a normal man living in my society and aware them which will lead to new ideas and innovations and let them know how Microsoft is helping and making their lives simpler and more beautiful.

I am sure I can succeed in the following by my strategies through hosting activities like events, workshops, boot camps, hands on sessions and drive my community people more nearer towards Microsoft.

I will gather reviews and suggestions from me and my community which will help Microsoft in future productions.

I am very thankful to Microsoft which has given me the opportunity to be Microsoft Student Associate and proof my abilities like evangelism in me, tech savvy etc.
